Our sweet boy cat Spike (aka Meaty Boy, Cat-n-a-Half, Ikey Spikey) passed away early this morning. He was 12 yrs old. He meowed lots and purred even more. He was patient with kids and never let me forget to feed him. He will be remembered always.

I am so sad. I will miss Spike. He was so enchanted when I scratched him on the neck. I will always think of him in that sunny spot in the window of your arts & crafts room. What a terrible loss.
I'm so sorry too! Spike and I had a moment together that day I dropped off the eggs.
